On May 19, 2026, a special report session was conducted by the Political Theory Learning Central Group of Bohai University's CPC Committee in the Music Hall of Songshan Campus to further learn the essence of speeches made by President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, about ideological and political work, and some content of the "Regulations of the Communist Party of China on Ideological and Political Work." At the session, which was presided over by CONG Maoguo, secretary of BU's CPC Committee, Prof. Wen Jing from Beijing Normal University was invited to deliver a special report on the regulations. Meanwhile, the audience learned the spirit of President Xi's instruction on promoting the high-quality development of philosophy and social sciences.
