On the afternoon of Apr. 1, 2026, Bohai University (BU) held a meeting for its laboratory safety work, at which, LI Xuepeng, vice-president of BU, made a speech to emphasize the importance of the work, to call on all the staff and students to raise their safety consciousness for the safety of laboratories, and to require the laboratory management staff to spare no efforts to construct a safe environment for the development of BU. Some staff members concerning the lab management from related sections and colleges of BU attended the meeting and listened to the reports made by some leaders responsible for lab safety in certain sub-level colleges.
