On the morning of April 22, 2022, Liaoning Provincial Work Meeting for Future Career of 2022 College Students was held in Shenyang to implement the speech made by Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, about the higher school graduates' future career. Some leaders of Bohai University (BU) attended the meeting via video link from the meeting room of BU.

On the afternoon of April 22, 2022, a follow-up meeting was held by BU to implement the essence of the provincial meeting, and to promote the future career work for BU's students who are to graduate in 2022. At the meeting, LIU Yang, secretary of BU's CPC Committee, delivered a speech to emphasize the importance of BU's work on the future career of its graduates-to-be, and made some plans for the work.
