On Sep. 22, 2026, Bohai University (BU) held the Conference on Safety and Security Work to review the work done on the campus safety and security from the beginning of the autumn semester, to evaluate the current risk in safety and security, and to make plans for the future work on safety and security. ZHAO Jianguo, president of BU, attended the meeting along with some leaders from related sections and colleges of BU. At the conference, which was presided over by CUI Honglai, vice-president of BU, President Zhao delivered a speech to emphasize the significance of the school's safety and security work, to make some plans for the work, and to call on all sections, departments, and colleges to spare no efforts to implement the national and provincial policies on safety and security, so that a secure and stable campus life is guaranteed for the students and teachers.
