Bohai University's 3rd Reading Class for Correct Views on Governance Performance

On Jul. 15, 2026, Bohai University (BU) conducted its 3rd reading class for establishing and putting into practice correct views on governance performance. In the class, which was attended by members of Political Theory Learning Central Group of Bohai University's CPC Committee and all staff of Bohai University's CPC Committee, the audience learned the essence of the speech made President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, at a gathering marking the CPC's 105th founding anniversary in Beijing, and that of what President Xi described as "a correct understanding of what it means to perform well," a guiding principle for officials that prioritizes people's well-being and values long-term, tangible results that may not be immediately visible, yet delivered through sound decision-making and concrete actions. It was presided over by CONG Maoguo, secretary of Bohai University's CPC Committee, who delivered a speech at the class. At the class, they also learned the essence of some CPC-building documents created by President Xi and exchanged ideas about their learning.
