On the afternoon of Apr. 9, 2026, CONG Maoguo, secretary of Bohai University's CPC Committee, went to the College of Marxism for an investigative tour and had a meeting with the representatives of the college, including the leaders and some teachers of the college, and related leaders from certain sections of Bohai University (BU). At the meeting, Secretary Cong made a speech to confirm the achievements made by the college in the past years, and he pointed out that BU's CPC Committee will continue to support the future development of the college. Finally, he put forward some suggestions for the college's future development. After the meeting, Secretary Cong attended a classroom lecture concerning Marxist theories, and the lecture was delivered by by ZHENG Haixia, a teacher of the College of Marxism.
