Sponsored by Liaoning Provincial Department of Science and Technology and Jinzhou City Bureau of Science and Technology, a special publicity meeting on the theme of "Strengthening Science and Technology Ethics to Promote Responsible Innovation" was undertaken Sep. 16, 2025 by Bohai University (BU) in the Academic Report of Boya Building. At the publicity meeting, which was chaired by WANG Yanzhi, chief of Jinzhou City Bureau of Science and Technology, ZHAO Jianguo, president of BU, delivered a welcome speech, ZHANG Zaiqun, a Grade-2 supervisor of Liaoning Provincial Department of Science and Technology, made a theme report, and YUAN Junpeng, a researcher of the Center for Document and Intelligence, National Academy of Science of China, was invited to give a brief introduction to the things concerning science and technology ethics. It was attended by 13,000 researchers, some of whom were online attenders. They all admitted that this meeting played a great role in arousing the consciousness of science and technology ethics to promote higher-level research.
