On the morning o f Jul. 29, 2025, Bohai University (BU) held a forum to celebrate China's Army Day, which falls on Aug. 1, marking the 98th anniversary of the founding of the PLA. At the forum, which was presided over by WANG Huakun, dean of the Section for Students' Affairs, LIU He, vice- secretary of BU's CPC Committee, made a speech to say highly of those who had made valuable contributions to the national defense and to the high-quality development of BU. It was attended by the staff members who had retired from the army and the relatives of those who are active in military service, and they told of their own life story in the army and that of their relatives, expressing their gratitude to BU.
