On May 22, 2025, a special political learning meeting was held by the Political Learning Central Group of Bohai University's CPC (Communist Party of China) Committee for learning the essence of "The 8 Disciplinary Regulations of CPC Central Committee." At the meeting, the audience further learned the 8 regulations and the essence of speech about the regulations made by President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission. It was presided over by CONG Maoguo, secretary of Bohai University's CPC Committee, who made a speech about the importance of learning the essence of the discipline and the main content of President Xi's speech. At the meeting, ZHAO Jianguo, president of BU, announced the policies made by Liaoning Provincial CPC Committee about the implementation of the regulations. There were some learners from 5 colleges of BU making reports on their learning experiences.
