On May 5, 2025, Bohai University (BU) held the Conference on Campus Safety and Security Work to implement the essence of the speech made by President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, about the national safety work, and to execute a series of policies made by Liaoning Province for the provincial education system. It was about the work of BU's safety, security, and stability. Some leaders from related sections and colleges of BU attended it and made reports about the work done by them. At the conference, which was presided over by CONG Maoguo, secretary of BU's CPC Committee, Secretary Cong made a speech to emphasize the significance of the school's safety and security work, and to call on all sections and departments to spare no efforts to implement the national and provincial policies, so that a secure and stable campus life is guaranteed for the students and teachers. ZHAO Jianguo, president of BU, delivered a speech to make some arrangements for the work to be done in the future.
