On Apr. 23, 2025, to celebrate the 30th "World Book Day," the 7th Reading Festival of Bohai University (BU) with "BU Fragrant with Books" as its subtitle and "Broad Reading for Future Revitalization" as its theme, was launched by the Library of BU by conducting the opening ceremony in the Music Hall of Songshan Campus. Some leaders from related sections and colleges of BU went to attend the ceremony together with some students and teachers. LI Fengying, vice-president of BU, made a speech at the ceremony, stressing the importance of reading by encouraging the students to do more reading during their stay here at BU. A series of activities will be conducted during the festival.
