To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Bohai University (BU) held its 7th Lakeside Painting and Chinese Calligraphy Competition Oct. 9, 2024 at the lakeside of Tinglin Lake, Songshan Campus. The opening ceremony for the competition was held on Siyuan Square at 10:30 a.m. It was on the theme of "Painting and Writing a Bright Prospect for Our Country." A group of leaders led by LIU Yang, secretary of BU's CPC Committee, came on the scene to take a tour of the competition. It is an activity that enriches BU's campus cultural life.
