On the morning of Sep. 14, 2024, a special learning meeting was held by the Political Learning Central Group of Bohai University's CPC (Communist Party of China) Committee for learning the essence of President Xi's speech made at a national conference on education held in Beijing from September 9 to 10. At the meeting, which was presided over by LIU Yang, secretary of BU's CPC Committee, who made a speech about the importance of learning the essence of the speech, the audience learned that Chinese President Xi Jinping sent greetings to teachers and other people working in the education sector across the country. Xi is also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission. They also learned the significant role played by education in building China into a modern socialist country.
