Bohai University (BU) and Jinzhou City jointly conducted an activity on Apr. 27, 2024, which was entitled "Academicians and Experts for Local Development." It was sponsored by Liaoning Provincial CPC Committee's Organization Section and Liaoning Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Some academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering and some experts from some institutes and higher schools were invited to attend the activity and employed as experts and consultants for the local economic development. LIU Yang, secretary of BU's CPC Committee, and ZHAO Jianguo, president of BU, went to the activity, along with some leaders of related colleges and sections of BU. President Zhao made a speech to express his gratitude for those who contributed to the development of BU and his hope that BU would do some contributions for the local development of Jinzhou.
