On Jan. 4, 2024, a forum was held by Bohai University (BU) for people outside the Communist Party of China (CPC) to further learn and implement the main contents of President Xi Jinping's thoughts on CPC united front work and the essence of Xi's speech about the rejuvenation of northeastern China's economy. It was chaired by SHU Zunqiang, dean of Section for Bohai University's CPC United Front Work, and attended by some leaders from related sections of BU including LIU Yang, secretary of BU's CPC Committee, and ZHAO Jianguo, president of BU, and people outside CPC, some of whom are members of minority parties. At the forum, they exchanged ideas about the learning.
