Bohai University held a special meeting of democratic life on Aug. 23, 2023, which focused on learning and implementing Xi Jinping's thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, so that ideological and political problems in daily life will be solved. It was chaired by LIU Yang, secretary of Bohai University's CPC Committee, and attended by Song Liyue, director of No. 20 Guidance Panel for the Theme Education of Liaoning Province Committee of CPC, and Zhou Zhiqiang, vice-director of the panel. Prior to the meeting, members of the panel had a talk with the school leaders of Bohai University about the learning of Xi Jinping's thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.
