In the 60th "Memorial Day of Learning from Lei Feng," Bohai University (BU) conducted some activities for its students and teachers to learn from Lei Feng, a late Chinese soldier who is remembered for serving the people wholeheartedly and has inspired many generations in China, like good Samaritan in the western countries, to implement the requirement made by President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission. Some students and teachers were organized to watch documentary programs concerning Lei Feng's spirit and to go some places around the campuses and surrounding communities to help those who were in need. Each college of BU held its own activities to learn from him.
