On Oct. 10, 2022, Bohai University conducted its national flag-raising ceremony for the fall semester simultaneously on Songshan and Seaside campuses as a special "first class" themed "ushering in 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China" in the new academic year. After that, Bohai University (BU) initiated its classroom teaching mode as well as the online broadcasting teaching mode for the students who failed to return to the campus due to the Covid-19 pandemic control and prevention policies. These online students leaned the courses via online live video link of various kinds, so that they will not miss any class by staying at home for the sake of the novel coronavirus. At the ceremony, "President Scholarship" was presented to some outstanding students by LIU Yang, secretary of BU's CPC Committee, and ZHAO Hui, president of BU.
