On Sep. 10, 2022, a Mid-autumn Festival forum was held via video link by Bohai University (BU) for its volunteers who go to the western part of China for certain kinds of jobs. At the forum, LIU Yang, secretary of BU's CPC Committee, delivered a speech to encourage them to contribute what they have for the development of the western provinces, to ask them to promote BU's spirit and tradition there, and to remind them of taking good care of themselves. Some representatives of the volunteers talked about their experience of working in the west and thanked BU for its concern.
