On the morning of Jan. 28, 2020, a conference was held by Bohai University for the prevention and control of potential pneumonia caused by the new coronavirus. Leaders from related sections and colleges of Bohai University attended the meeting, at which LIU Yang, secretary of Bohai University's CPC Committee, delivered a speech to make arrangements for the work of prevention and control of the new type of disease, so that the students have a safe environment to learn and the staff, to work. After the conference, a group of people led by Secretary Liu went to greet the international students and presented them some food and some masks for medical purpose.
